Ivy Tech Columbus, Franklin host free FAFSA filing events in April

COLUMBUS, Ind. -Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus and Franklin continues the free FAFSA Filing Events in April to help students and families complete the 2025–26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). .

To serve as many students as possible, events are offered at multiple dates, times, and locations across the region:     

Ivy Tech Community College Franklin - 2205 McClain Dr.   

  • Tuesday, April 7, 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Ivy Tech Community College Columbus - 4475 Central Ave.     

  • Thursday, April 2, 4:30–6 p.m.

These events provide hands-on assistance from Ivy Tech staff to guide students and families through the FAFSA process, ensuring they can access federal, state, and institutional financial aid for the upcoming academic year.    

To complete the FAFSA on-site without delays, students and families should bring:

  • FSA ID for both the student and one parent (if the student is a dependent).
  • Social Security Numbers for the student and parent.
  • 2024 federal tax return and W2 forms for the student and parent.
  • Records of untaxed income, if applicable.
  • Driver’s license or state ID (student).
  • A list of colleges the student is considering, including Ivy Tech.
