COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Louisville and Indiana Railroad Company has contracted Legacy Excavating LLC to perform railroad crossing maintenance at the East County Road 450S railroad tracks next week.
This repair will require a total road closure for two days at the railroad crossing, beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, and continuing through 6 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, between S. Jonesville Road and South County Road 50W. Drivers are advised to follow the posted detour routes.
Local property access and public access to the Bartholomew County Landfill will be maintained during the project. Motorists should follow the signs to access these locations.
Emergency response personnel and motorists should plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time.
