Plainfield, IN - For the sixth time in the past five days, an Indiana State Police (ISP) car was struck along the interstates in the Indianapolis District.
Trooper Jordan Hall was investigating a rollover crash on I-70 eastbound near the 60-mile marker, just west of Plainfield, on Thursday morning. While sitting in his car, another vehicle spun out of control and slammed into the back of his car.
Both the driver of the other vehicle and Trooper Hall were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The ISP Indianapolis District covers Marion, Hancock, Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Johnson, and Shelby Counties. Since the onset of this snowstorm, troopers have worked around the clock responding to countless emergency calls.
