FRANKLIN, Ind. — Johnson County REMC (JCREMC) has announced that applications for the spring 2026 cycle of "Operation Round-Up" are now available.

Non-profit organizations located in or near the JCREMC service area are invited to apply for grant funding up to $5,000. The deadline to apply is April 30.

Operation Round-Up is a community-focused initiative that provides support to local non-profits. Each month, participating JCREMC members volunteer to have their bill rounded up to the nearest whole dollar. The average per-member contribution is around $6 per year.

Since its launch in 2019, the program has awarded over $600,000 in grants to nearly 100 local companies, including fire departments, schools, animal shelters, and food banks. Last fall, 15 non-profit organizations received funding, including Center Grove Community School Corporation, Edinburgh Fire and Rescue, Girls Inc. of Franklin, and others.

Recipients are selected by an independent advisory board of the JCREMC Community Fund, with funds administered through the Johnson County Community Foundation.
