FRANKLIN/GREENWOOD, Ind. – Aspire Economic Development and Chamber Alliance has set a new plan for a diverse and sustainable Johnson County economy.
The strategy expects 50% more advanced industries jobs by 2025 and hopes to grow the average annual wage by 15% for workers at all income levels in the next five years.
Aspire also declared five goals: driving innovation to boost business, boosting site development for catalyst projects, nurturing community collaboration and engagement, pursuing opportunities for enhancing livability, and delivering robust education and workforce endeavors.
“We seek to align Johnson County’s economic base with the advanced industries super-sector,” said CEO Christian Maslowski. “Doing so requires collaboration from all Johnson County leaders.”
