Nomination deadline for Jackson County Chamber Annual Awards is Friday

SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Jackson County Chamber hosts its 95th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 12, at the Jackson Live and Event Center, 981 C Avenue E in Seymour.

Highlights of the evening include a year-in-review presentation, a look ahead for the chamber, and the presentation of Chamber Awards.

The Chamber Awards include...

  • Business Hall of Fame for small, medium, and large businesses
  • Spirit of the Chamber
  • Young Professional of the Year

The deadline for award nominations for all categories is this Friday, February 13. Nomination forms are available at the Jackson County Chamber office and online. Winners will be announced before the dinner.

The social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. The dinner is at 6:15, followed by the program.

    SEYMOUR, Ind. - A two-vehicle collision involving a wrong-way driver claimed three lives on I-65 near Seymour early Sunday morning, August 23. Shortly after 2:30 a.m., a caller reported a head-on crash on southbound I-65 in Jackson County, about one mile south of Seymour.
