Part of US 50, east of US 31 in Seymour, down to one lane starting Wednesday

SEYMOUR, Ind. - Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Milestone Contractors, L.P., is scheduled to reduce U.S. 50 to one lane east of U.S. 31 in Seymour beginning on or after Wednesday, April 15.

Work will take place between North County Road 1225E and North County Road 1250E and is expected to take up to one week, weather permitting.

U.S. 50 will be reduced to one lane using daytime flagging operations while work is in progress. Crews will install final pavement markings, complete final pavement restoration, and install raised pavement markers.   

This project is part of a $1.9 million contract awarded in January 2024. 

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All schedules are subject to change.
