SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 participated in the City of Seymour Parks and Recreation's "End of Summer Escape" on Friday, July 31, at Shields Park. It was one of the last summer events before the kids head back to school.

As a way of giving back to the community, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 served over 300 hot dogs with chips, 24 pounds of nachos with cheese, 450 snow cones, and plenty of water at no cost to attendees.

In addition to the free food, the End of Summer Escape event provided two hours of fun, including bounce houses, giveaways, and lots of activities for the kids before school starts on Wednesday.
